The OnSite system has the ability to merge accounts in the Chart of Accounts (COA).  This feature is access controlled and there are limitations.  Merging can only be done within the same series and hierarchy.  To merge accounts, refer to the video below.

 NOTE:  You must have proper access rights to use the Merge feature.

NOTE:  Be careful using this feature!  When you Merge a COA it does so even for accounts that are in Closed Periods which can affect Balance Sheets and Profit and Loss Statements.  It will not affect the overall numbers on these reports but it will affect the account details.
